‘The Forest community was honoured to welcome the Queen and Prince Philip to the New Forest and Hampshire County Show as part of their Diamond Jubilee Tour of the UK. ‘Half of the New Forest National Park is known as the Crown Lands and as such the Queen has always been very much at the heart of the people and way of life of the New Forest sustaining this landscape throughout her remarkable reign. ‘On behalf of the members and staff of the New Forest National Park Authority it is with great sadness that we extend our sincere condolences to the Royal Family on the death of Her Majesty the Queen.
